It seems the upcoming years will be very important for Take-Two Interactive. With GTA VI releasing later this year, the company is already preparing many future projects, and its latest earnings report has now given a clearer look at those plans.
Take-Two Interactive confirmed that it plans to release 29 games worldwide between Fiscal Years 2027 and 2029. The lineup includes sequels, sports games, brand-new franchises, mobile titles, and several remakes and remasters.

The biggest part of the lineup is made up of 15 core existing franchise titles. These include eight full sequels and seven projects described as remakes, remasters, and platform extensions. Out of those projects, six are specifically planned for Fiscal Years 2028 and 2029. Take-Two also plans to release eight sports games, which includes yearly titles such as NBA 2K27, WWE 2K27, and PGA TOUR 2K27.
The report also mentions three completely new core IPs. So far, the company has revealed Judas from Ghost Story Games led by Ken Levine and Project ETHOS from 31st Union, with another new franchise still being kept secret. The publisher is also developing three mobile games, although only Zynga’s CSR 3 has been officially announced until now.
While the company has not confirmed which games will receive remakes, remasters, or which titles will be part of platform extensions that bring older games over to current-gen systems, many of us would love to see GTA IV or even Red Dead Redemption 2 become part of those plans. As more information about which games are included becomes available, we’ll make sure to let you guys know here at GameObserver.
Looking ahead, Take-Two is hard at work preparing for the launch of GTA VI, which is scheduled to release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, although its official price still has not been revealed. Many are already speculating that the game could cost more than $100, with a recent survey claiming that 40% of players believe that would be a fair price for GTA VI.
