His favorite game franchises are Pokemon, Fallout, and The Legend of Zelda, and he lives for city-builders and tower defense games. He knows more about Sonic the Hedgehog lore than anyone at Sonic Team. As the Indie Game Correspondent, he's always on the hunt for new interesting little games that are slipping through the cracks.

Angel (they/she) is a 26-year old journalist who has recently came back to the world of writing after a long break. Angel has almost a decade of esports experience and is excited to bring their expertise to the GameObserver now as a Staff Writer. Angel plans to continue to pursue her journalistic endeavors at GO while also being a Business Adjunct Professor at Ivy Tech Community College.

Austin spends most of his time in realities besides his own, whether crafting his own fantasy lore or exploring worlds created by another. He finds as much joy in the mechanical fine-tuning of a character as he does in the narrative depth of the world itself, and believes masterpieces are born where the two meet.

Fahad specializes in indie titles coverage with an intense love for survival crafting games. You'll often see him writing guides and reviews about hidden gems. He's also passionate about fighting games and is always striving to improve his writing skills and his ability to convey his thoughts to the audience.

Mer Mora is a New York City–based writer and communications professional. Her writing has appeared in art and gaming publications, including Unwinnable, IMPULSE, Art Spiel and TUSSLE. She started playing RPGs in 2025 and has been thinking too hard about them ever since.

Clare FitzPatrick

Clare is a professor, author, journalist, and digital content creator. Her work has appeared in numerous literary and gaming publications. In addition to her life's goal of educating the world on the literary merit of video games and the future of storytelling, Clare streams mediocre gameplay on Twitch and plays absurd amounts of Dungeons & Dragons. She is a Professor of Digital Media Studies at St. Mary's College of California and lives in San Francisco.

Nyah Payne

I have been playing games since I was little, and writing for even longer! I graduated from Falmouth University with a degree in Game Development: Writing, getting to combine my two biggest passions. I spent three years in gorgeous Cornwall developing video games, researching the industry, and writing detailed articles about games. A great deal of thanks is owed to my team mates and lecturers who made the experience so fulfilling, and the work I produced can be seen on my website. Now I am thrilled to continue my journey writing for GameObserver. A huge fan of anything fantasy, horror, or post-apocalypse, I have a particular love for branching narratives. I am also a huge nature lover, and will always be happy to discuss that one animal from that one game that is just too cute for its own good!
