If you’re looking forward to Palworld 1.0 and are worried the game will raise its price after the full release, there’s good news. Pocketpair has confirmed that Palworld will stay at its base price of $29.99 after version 1.0 arrives on July 10. That means players will not have to pay extra just because the game is leaving Early Access.
“After much thought, we have decided not to raise the price of Palworld following the 1.0 release and will keep it at $29.99,” Pocketpair said. “We are incredibly proud of how far Palworld has come. Thanks to the amazing support of our players, it has become a success beyond our wildest dreams. As a small way of saying thank you, we’ll be keeping the price at $29.99.”

The 1.0 update is set to bring major changes. Pocketpair has shared details about big gameplay and progress changes, with many core systems being heavily reworked. Older save files will still work, but the developers strongly suggest starting a new character to get the best experience. In a message on Discord, Pocketpair’s Head of Global Communications and Publishing said, “Players can continue their existing saves if they wish, as we want to respect the time and effort you have put in. However, due to the large number of changes to the game, including overhauls to mechanics and new content, we believe that starting a new character will give you the best experience of Palworld!”
The full 1.0 release will also bring together earlier Early Access content, including new islands, raids, and crossplay. At the same time, Pocketpair has confirmed that Palworld has now passed 40 million players across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Palworld 1.0 launches tomorrow, and it will also be part of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July. For more Palworld-related coverage, keep checking GameObserver.
