The Witcher 3 is known for many things, from its characters to its story to its gameplay, yet perhaps one of the biggest standouts is the soundtrack. Polish composer Marcin Przybyłowicz led the creation of music for the legendary RPG, and in a move that’s sure to thrill fans of the series and its music, he’s back again for The Witcher 4. This was confirmed by Associate Game Director Paweł Sasko from CD Projekt Red over on X (formerly Twitter), clarifying in just four simple words that Przybyłowicz is “now on Witcher 4”.
The music of The Witcher 3 was popular enough to warrant its own global tour, as The Witcher in Concert has spent the last couple of months touring the world to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3. The tour is still ongoing, with a second visit to Europe scheduled for the end of this year. It’s no surprise then that CD Projekt Red would choose to keep Przybyłowicz for more Witcher music creation, and even with the franchise shifting protagonists, his familiar gritty and traditional musical stylings will likely keep some familiarity as Ciri takes over the leading role.

Przybyłowicz is known for more than just his work on The Witcher series. He also worked on many compositions for Cyberpunk 2077, along with the song ‘Village of Shadows for Resident Evil Village. Back in 2016, he became the most streamed Polish artist on Spotify amongst users outside of Poland, and he still has over 1,800,000 monthly listeners on the platform to this day.
News on The Witcher 4 is slow but steady, so be sure to check back often to GameObserver for more breaking news coverage as it happens, along with plenty of other gaming content written for humans by humans.
