Final Fantasy VII Revelation is releasing some time in Spring of 2027, and Square-Enix is certainly ready for the occasion. We were already aware that leading lady Tifa Lockhart is getting a guest spot in Street Fighter 6 ahead of the game, but Square Enix also just announced that Kazushige Nojima’s Dear Destiny, the tie-in novel about Tifa and Final Fantasy VII’s other heroine, Aerith, will be getting an English release at the start of next year.
The Novel is split into three stories. One covers Tifa’s life in the days immediately before the start of the game, the second covers Aerith’s days a few years prior, and a third section shows Cloud’s perspective and motivations as he leaves his hometown to join SOLDIER and the trouble he gets into immediately.

Originally released in Japan in January this year, the English version is set to release on the 28th of January, 2027, according to the pre-order form on the Square-Enix Manga & Books website. The retail price is listed at $26.99 for the hardcover, and $14.99 for the digital edition. Britt Baron and Brianna White, English Voice actors for Tifa Lockhart and Aerith Gainsborough, revealed in an Anime Expo panel that they will be reading excerpts of the novel to promote it, possibly as early as October of this year.
There is not yet any word on releases for any additional languages, despite the worldwide popularity of Final Fantasy VII.
