The Famitsu sales charts track hardware and boxed game sales in Japan, and we report on those sales as the chart releases every Thursday! This week’s chart covers January 26 to February 1, as Code Vein II on PS5 takes the top spot with only 14,000 units sold. Sales are surprisingly low across the board this week, with even Nintendo’s evergreen hits selling relatively low across this relaxed sales week.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade managed to keep itself on the chart after its #1 debut last week thanks to its Nintendo Switch 2 release, falling this week to #9 with an additional 5,000 units sold. Whilst the Switch 2 sold almost 70,000 more consoles this week, Mario Kart World sold only another 12,000 units, showing an interesting gap between new console purchases and chosen games at the point of purchase.

Here’s the full Famitsu software sales breakdown for the January 26 to February 1 period, along with the lifetime sales for each game. Be sure to check out our Famitsu archive if you haven’t already too!
