Famitsu: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Tops Sales Chart

The Famitsu sales charts track hardware and boxed game sales in Japan, and we report on those sales as the chart releases every Thursday! This week’s chart covers January 19 to January 25, as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade becomes a best-selling game with its Switch 2 release. Debuting on the top spot, it sold over 23,000 physical copies with its new Switch 2 release, which also makes it the fastest selling version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade! The PS5 version sold only 21,000 units, whilst its repriced edition debuted with 14,000 sales.

Elsewhere on the chart, we had two other debut release secure a position amongst the best sellers, with Dynasty Warriors: Origins landing at #5 on Switch 2 thanks to over 8,000 units sold, whilst Switch release Un:Logical follows closely behind with just under 8,000 units sold. The rest of the chart is the usual culprits you’d be familiar with if you follow our Famitsu charts often, with Nintendo’s evergreen Switch titles selling and selling.
