The asymmetrical horror experience that is Dead by Daylight is always getting new content, but today’s announcements are pretty huge. Starting April 28, three major crossovers will be coming to Dead by Daylight in different forms, and we’re going to break them all down here, including the cosmetics available for those jumping in.
First up is the next Rift Pass, which whilst titled ‘Ruin’ will be entirely themed around gothic RPG series Darkest Dungeon. As a crossover Rift Pass, it contains a bunch of cosmetics that reimagine Darkest Dungeon elements in the Dead by Daylight style for both killers and survivors. For confirmed killer cosmetics, The Nurse will receive a Collector’s Curse skin, whilst The Blight gets the Prophet’s Sight skin. As for the confirmed survivor outfits, Meg Thomas will get Hellion’s Courage whilst David King gets Highwayman’s Tale, Vittorio Toscano gets Leper’s Quest and Zarina Kassir dons Plague Doctor’s Purpose.

For the second featured collaboration in April 28, the 2V8 game mode returns with an Attack on Titan theming. Along with the returning game mode, the Attack on Titan cosmetic collections will make a comeback along with new outfits too. The Trapper will be getting a legendary Eren Yeager skin, whilst survivors Yui Kimura, Jake Park and Thalita Lyra will also be getting character outfits inspired by Mikasa, Levi and Sasha respectively. Feng Min, Adam Francis and Mikaela Reid will also be getting new cosmetics with the drop.
As for the final crossover, a new Alien cosmetic collection will bring a Colonial Marine outfit for Gabriel Soma and a legendary cosmetic to transform Ellen Ripley into William Hudson from the iconic Aliens movie. Like the other collections, the Alien cosmetic set drops on April 28.

Finally, it’s worth noting that news broke from some employees within Behaviour Interactive than a new round of layoffs took place today, speculated to be around 30 people. The former Senior Animator at Dead by Daylight, Jonathan Veiga, was one individual affected by the cuts, sharing on social media that they “didn’t think it was going to happen”. Veiga had previously worked on some hugely popular IP collaboration animations in Dead by Daylight, such as Castlevania‘s Dracula and Five Nights at Freddy’s Springtrap.
Behaviour’s recent stealth round of layoffs join the global trend of shrinking workforces within the gaming industry, such as Epic Games’ sweeping 1,000 employee layoffs.
