The Holy Grail War might be dominating the gacha conversation and many players’ attention right now, but that didn’t stop one particular recent release from taking over one of the Top 10s. This week’s charts cover July 20 to 24 and are based on estimated top-grossing rankings from Sensor Tower and AppMagic. Note that the figures below combine estimates across both Android and iOS.
After weeks of dominating the charts, Pokémon GO‘s 10th anniversary momentum is finally beginning to cool off. Stepping into the spotlight in its place is the Fate series, which is launching an assault on two different fronts simultaneously. Over in Honkai: Star Rail, Phase 2 of the Fate/stay night crossover event kicks off this week, adding Rin Tohsaka as a 5-star Quantum Erudition unit and Gilgamesh as a free 5-star Lightning Destruction character for everyone who logs in before Version 4.6 ends.
Meanwhile, Fate/Grand Order is opening its own front with the ‘BB Presents☆Celeb Summer Experience! Dubai’s Counterattack’ summer event, which runs until September 1. What’s more, the game’s 11th Anniversary campaign at the end of July might also help boost players’ spending and push it back to the Top 10s in Japan.
And speaking of Japan’s chart, there’s the newcomer that quickly took over the number one spot — the first official Hololive mobile game, hololive Dreams. Developed by Cover Corporation and QualiArts, the studio behind Gakuen iDOLM@STER, it launched simultaneously worldwide on July 23 for iOS, Android, and Steam. It’s no surprise that Hololive and Vtuber fans are flocking to this new release, as the rhythm RPG comes jam-packed with content. Players can enjoy over 150 songs, over 50 playable characters, a theme park building system, and various co-op mini-games as well. Would all of that excitement be able to tide over gacha players around the world for weeks to come? Only time will tell.

Here’s how major mobile and gacha games performed across key regions for the week of July 20 to July 24.
