PlayStation Confirms New State Of Play For Wolverine And More PS5 Games

After weeks of rumors, Sony has finally announced that the next State of Play will take place on Tuesday, June 2, starting at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM CEST. Viewers in Japan will be able to watch it on June 3 at 6:00 AM JST, and the presentation will run for more than 60 minutes.

The event will offer a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine from Insomniac Games, with the upcoming third-person action-adventure showing Logan’s “brutal and relentless” combat along with new details ahead of its launch on September 15. The showcase is also expected to feature other upcoming PS5 games, together with updates, reveals, and brand-new announcements from both first-party and third-party studios around the world.

In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, they stated, “State of Play returns Tuesday, June 2 with more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world. To kick things off, you’ll get a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Insomniac Games will share more from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game, showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with some new details. This all-new take on the comic book legend launches on PS5 September 15.”

While nothing else has been officially confirmed yet, possible updates about other highly anticipated projects like GTA 6 and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet could also appear during the showcase, something many of us are already hoping to see, although this remains speculation for now.

It’s also worth noting that the livestream will be available in English, while Japanese subtitles will also be available for viewers who need them.
