After the recent price increases for PlayStation hardware, and last week’s PS Plus subscription price hike, there is finally some relief for PlayStation users. Sony has officially announced its annual Days of Play event, which will run from May 27 until June 10.
The Days of Play event includes major discounts on PS Plus subscriptions, DualSense controllers, the PSVR 2 headset, first-party games, and much more. However, one important thing missing this year is any discount on the PlayStation 5 consoles. None of the PS5 models are getting price cuts this time, most likely because of “current market conditions.”
Here are the deals Sony is offering during Days of Play event:
- $100 USD off PlayStation VR2
- $50 USD off Pulse Explore wireless earbuds
- $40 USD off Pulse Elite wireless headset
- $30 USD off DualSense Edge wireless controller
- $30 USD off Access controller
- Up to $20 USD off DualSense wireless controllers
- Various discounts on PS5 games such as Ghost of Yōtei, Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
As for PlayStation Plus, Sony is offering discounts for both new and existing subscribers. New users can save up to 33% on a 12-month membership, while current users can also get 33% off when upgrading to a higher tier.
The company also confirmed the June PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, which include Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide starting June 2. Extra and Premium members will also see Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025) added to the Game Catalog on June 9, the same day as its final content update. In addition, Premium tier users will be able to try more than 40 new indie game trials, including this year’s BAFTA Game of the Year winner Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
