Disney has just quietly removed another 15 games from Steam, bringing the total number of delisted titles to 29 in only a few months. This follows the earlier removal of 14 games in January, and just like that previous wave, these latest titles disappeared without any prior notice or explanation.
As with the earlier removals, the delisted games can no longer be purchased by new users, although they remain downloadable and playable for those who already own them in their Steam libraries. This means players who already own the games can still play them, but new users can no longer buy them on Steam.

If you want to see which games were removed, check the list below:
- STAR WARS Dark Forces (Classic, 1995)
- STAR WARS Rebellion
- Outlaws + A Handful of Missions
- Disney Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
- Disney’s Treasure Planet: Battle of Procyon
- Disney Alice in Wonderland
- Disney Tangled
- Disney Pixar Brave: The Video Game
- Bolt
- Chicken Little
- G-Force
- Disney Universe
- Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure
- High School Musical 3
- Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier
Disney has not explained why these games were removed, but one likely reason could be licensing and royalty costs. Many of the titles are based on older films, and keeping them on sale may require agreements that are no longer worth the cost. As sales drop over time, the expense of keeping those rights active may become higher than the money these older games still bring in.
Another possible reason is that many of these older games may no longer run properly on newer systems like Windows 11, making it increasingly difficult to keep them running smoothly and manage support issues, especially when the player base is small. Whatever the reason may be, these removals once again raise concerns about digital preservation, as games can be taken off sale at any time without notice.
