Warframe Iceblade Of Narin Brings A New Ice Warframe And 6-Player Mode

The Digital Extremes team traveled to Seoul, Korea, this week to celebrate a TennoVIP, during which they conducted Warframe’s Devstream 197. In this stream, the team shared content coming with the next update, Iceblade of Narin. This update will bring a new Ice-themed female Warframe, a new 6-player game mode, and more.

The 66th Warframe to join the roster is Narin, who brings sword and ice abilities, the signature Nunchasa bow, and dual ice pistols, Aksondol. Obtaining Narin is tied to another new location and game mode. This new location, Yuvan Peak, is on a never-before-seen side of Earth and includes a new hub from which players can select the aforementioned mode, Glacial Defiance. This will be a 6-player mission played on existing mission levels, with challenging twists for players to uncover. Once a mission is completed, players will be transported to Melica’s Labroom for rewards. After visiting Melica’s Labroom, Entropic Eximus enemies will start spawning throughout Zariman missions. These adversaries drop Entropic Kuva that can be traded with Cephalon Melica in Yuvan Peak for new update-themed wares.

With Iceblade of Narin, players will revisit some familiar locations but with some modifications, both for the HUB and missions.

Iceblade of Narin will be arriving on September 23, but the team also shared news on content beyond the update. On October 15, Epoch Operation: Taubound arrives. Taubound is a once-in-a-lifetime in-game community event that will prepare players for the Tau update. To access this event, players will need to complete the Hex and The Old Peace quests. However, players who haven’t arrived at these main story quests yet will still be able to earn the event’s rewards.

Additional announcements from the stream include Citrine Prime coming with the Iceblade of Narin, Banshee’s rework, free login rewards, new Deluxe cosmetics, and TennoGen. The team also shared that Warframe continues to arrive on new platforms, including the Samsung Galaxy Store on September 23.
