Street Fighter 6: Ingrid Update Guide

The final character for the Year 3 Pass, Ingrid, has finally arrived in Street Fighter 6. Besides the typical story that accompanies a new character, this Ingrid update brought other additional features, like a new Avatar mode, free outfits, and more. Capcom has also confirmed that Ingrid will be the last character to bring content to the World Tour mode upon release. It isn’t clear if all characters will receive their World Tour story content over time, or none at all. Hopefully, this means that Capcom is aiming to add new characters faster.

World Tour

SF6 Ingrid quest
Thankfully, all objectives in this quest will be marked on your map. Most of it takes place in the northern area of Nayshall.

As with some previous characters, to begin Ingrid’s quest, you will need to go to your Hangout and select One Fateful Day – An Extradimensional Visitor. You will be transported to Old Nayshall in the Bazaar. There, search for the NPC with the quest icon called Warf and accept the mission “Encounters of the Glowing Kind.”

The quest is very straightforward; all the NPCs you must talk to will be marked on your map. After talking to the NPCs, Ingrid’s Monoid will appear. Follow it, and it will transport you to Ingrid’s world. There, she will explain that to return to your world, you will have to help another person who was trapped there as well. The location of this person will be marked on your map, North of Nayshall. Locate the lost person, and fight to send it back to its world. After that, Ingrid will send you back to yours. Speak to Warf again in the bazaar to complete the quest.

Gifts and Outfit 2

Ingrid monoid
Monoid will be your messenger and travel agent for Ingrid. Beware, traveling to Ingrid’s dimension costs 1 travel ticket.

Back in Nayshall, Monoid will appear at the Bazaar now. Speak to Monoid to travel to Ingrid’s Pocket Dimension. There, talk with Ingrid to enroll as her student. To level up her bond and unlock her Outfit 2, you can gift her Lavender Candles, which reward 5 Levels to the Bond Meter. You can obtain Lavender Candles by defeating random NPCs around Nayshall. See the details of each NPC when you are close to them to see if they reward the candles.

For the 40 Level Up gift, you will have to complete the secondary quest, “A SiRN Holiday,” which can be found in the port area East of Nayshall. It should be marked on your map with the blue quest icon. The quest will have you fighting or defending some scientists, all of whom will be marked on your map. After defeating the last boss, you will complete the quest and receive the rewards, which include a Fish Sausage. Give the Fish Sausage to Ingrid to level up her bond by 40 levels. Continue gifting Ingrid the candles or prepaid cards until level 100 to unlock her Outfit 2.

Avatar Room

In this new mode, you can earn gear both for your avatar and for standard fighters.

Ingrid and her story weren’t the only content to be added. The new Avatar Room Mode will let you continue your character training without entering World Tour. In the Avatar Room, all master styles, special moves, and Super Arts are available from the start. From here, you can also now enter matchmaking and fight against other players and their Avatars (this was only possible before in the Battle Hub). These multiplayer fights will be fixed with a Level Sync, while gauge limits and accessory slots are fully unlocked.

Or, you can battle against the CPU Masters in the Avatar Arcade to unlock rewards and fill their Acquisition Gauge, which is another new way to earn their Outfit 2. A Battle Tour mode is also available, which imitates the classic Street Fighter Arcade Story mode, including fighters that can interrupt and invade your journey. This new Avatar Room mode seems to be the solution to new characters being added without the World Tour story.

In addition to this content, the update also included the free DriveTech Wear Outfits for all characters, bug fixes, and balancing adjustments.
