One of the most popular Fortnite collaborations over the last year has to be the arrival of pop princess Sabrina Carpenter. She headlined Fortnite Festival Season 8 starting in April, and proved to be hugely popular with both her Festival Pass and item shop bundle variants – so she’s back for the festive season with a new look. The Santa ‘Brina bundle is expected to release tonight at time of writing (December 22) when the item shop refreshes, and comes with a bunch of Christmas-themed Sabrina Carpenter cosmetics.
Along with the Santa ‘Brina skin, which includes a removable hat, Sabrina’s bundle also comes with a matching Winterfest Sack back bling, and both a dance emote and jam track of her #1 hit Manchild. The dance emote includes the choreography made famous by Sabrina on social media and on her world tour, with over 50 seconds of the Manchild track included in the emote loop.
The Christmas crossover with Sabrina Carpenter is somewhat reminiscent of the Mariah Carey collaboration last year, with both being pop culture icons and dressed in elegant Santa-like costumes. Sabrina Carpenter proved so popular this year that Fortnite even tracked how many full Sabrina squads dropped onto the island in the game over the past year, with about 6.8 million players and their friends going for matching Sabrina team-ups.
The festive season is in full swing over in Fortnite, as the Winterfest seasonal event is giving players free gifts each day. Along with Sabrina Carpenter, there have also been collaborations with Harry Potter, Hatsune Miku and even Batman Beyond rolling out over the past week.
