The official Fortnite account just shared a bunch of information about the upcoming OG Season 7 that’s set to begin on December 11, and with it comes our first look at the skins that will be featured in the OG Pass. As with other OG seasons, these cosmetics are inspired by original Season 7 skins, with Fortnite deciding to give the redesigns to Lynx, Sgt. Winter and Onesie this time around. This has surprised some fans however, as it’s missing potentially the primary character from the original Season 7 – the Ice King.
For those unaware, Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 7 was a winter season, taking place between December 2018 and February 2019 and thus having a very winter-themed selection of cosmetics. The Ice King was the signature skin from the season, being at the forefront of its promotional materials and taking a key role in the lore of the season. However, despite this OG season once again beginning in winter and being a return to the original Season 7, the Ice King is nowhere to be seen at present.

The cosmetics that Epic Games have designed though do still bring over some of the key holiday vibes from the original. The remade Sgt. Winter in particular plays into the theme, holding a candy cane between his teeth like a cigar and wearing a thick, distinctly Santa-like jacket. Onesie is another fan favorite from Season 7, and the OG remake skin once again looks particularly cosy, this time featuring a cat-ear hood. It’s worth noting that the design for Onesie features a repeated pattern of the “GG” emoticon, prompting speculation that perhaps this outfit will be customizable with other player emoticons. This is unconfirmed speculation, but it would be a fun holiday treat for players to discover if true.
