Marvel’s Wolverine is coming to PS5 on September 15, and Sony is making the launch a little more special with a full range of limited-edition PS5 hardware and accessories. Sony has officially announced the collection, which was created together with well-known comic book artist Jock. There are two different styles based on Wolverine himself: Battle Yellow, inspired by his classic yellow and black suit, and Adamantium, based on the metal covering Logan’s skeleton.
The main part of the lineup is the Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow PS5 Digital Edition Bundle. It comes with a yellow and black PS5 Digital Edition featuring Wolverine’s face and claw marks, a matching Battle Yellow DualSense controller, and a digital voucher for the game. You won’t need to buy another PS5 to get some Wolverine hardware either. Sony is also selling the Battle Yellow DualSense separately, while special Battle Yellow console covers will be available for both the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro. The claw marks can be seen across the hardware, while Jock’s illustration of Logan appears on the console itself.
Then there is Adamantium, which gives the hardware a metallic silver finish inspired by Logan’s adamantium skeleton. The matching DualSense features claw-slash designs across the touchpad and grips. The Adamantium console covers, however, are only being made for the PS5 Pro, so regular PS5 Slim owners won’t have that option. A standalone Adamantium Silver DualSense will also be available.
