As the Make It Rain Campaign event comes to an end for now on Final Fantasy XIV, a new one begins. This time, the Breaking Brick Mountains event is back, allowing players to earn rewards made in collaboration with Dragon Quest X. If you have completed this event before, you can use the Seasonal Event Replay Feature, but be aware that you cannot earn the quest’s rewards again. This event will be available from Thursday, June 25, 2026, to Monday, July 13.
To begin the quest, head to Ul’dah – Steps of Nald at coordinates X:12.1, Y:8.3. There, you will speak with Havak Alvak, who will offer you the quest Breaking Brick Mountains. Havak will explain to you about Golems and the materials they drop. Havak will then send you to the Beefy Businessman at the Erralig’s Burial Chamber area, coordinates X:8.2, Y:12.3.

After speaking with the Beefy Businessman, you will have to complete two Fates: “Brick by Brick,” followed by either “Brick by Stone Brick” or “Brick by Gold Brick.” For these Fates, however, there are no objective markers, so you need to find them on the map. The closest one is on Central Thanalan by Sil’dih Excavation Site, coordinates X:18.0, Y:23.5. The other locations where these Fates can spawn are:
- Lower La Noscea, Blind Iron Mines (X:27.0, Y:17.3)
- Upper La Noscea, Camp Bronze Lake (X:34.1, Y:24.1)
- Central Shroud, Bentbranch Meadows (X:23.6, Y:23.9)
- North Shroud, Finders’ Bluff (X:15.8, Y:31.0)

After defeating the Brickman that appears on both Fates, you will earn a Brickman Chunk. Bring it to the Beefy Businessman to complete the quest after a silly cutscene. Completing the quest will reward you with the Thug’s Mug and the Brickman Minion. Additionally, you can now buy the King Slime Crown and the Dragon Quest X Framer’s Kit from Toughie. She can be found just by the side of the Beefy Businessman.
That’s all from the Breaking Brick Mountains event. A short one, but one that you don’t want to miss for its rewards, especially if you are a Dragon Quest fan. For more Final Fantasy XIV Guides, stay tuned to GameObserver.
