You might remember that recently we covered a rumor that Tifa Lockhart would be joining the cast of Street Fighter 6 alongside existing Capcom Characters such as Gouken, Vega, and Mike Haggar.
Two months later, we can confirm that the rumors were partially true: Tifa Lockhart is indeed making her way to Street Fighter 6 Year Four in Spring of 2027, close to the release of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. As for the other three rumored characters, they are not so lucky. Instead, the other three incoming characters are newcomers Yasmine, Arjun, and Bosch, the latter of which comes straight from Street Fighter 6‘s World Tour mode.

Yasmine is a shy and gentle karambit-wielding highschooler from the Philippines who dances around opponents in combat. She is on her world tour in search of her long-missing brother.
Arjun, a former Indian police officer who was accused of killing a colleague, is now on the run from the law while he searches for the true killer. He uses Yogic Breathing techniques to deliver explosive strikes as part of his Bare-Knuckle Yoga fighting style.

Bosch, who is finally becoming a proper playable character despite being present in the game since its launch, travels to find the true meaning of strength. His fighting style is a combination of the ancient techniques of the warrior faith of his homeland Nayshall mixed with the modern combat techniques he learned from Luke in Metro City.
As for Tifa, she has been unexpectedly transported to the world of Street Fighter Six while travelling with Cloud and the rest of her companions, but she quickly finds and forms bonds with the fighters she finds there. She is a master of Zangan-ryu, a master of close-range combat. He style combines martial arts techniques with “Abilities,” which are almost certainly special moves modeled after her combat Abilities from Remake, Rebirth, and now Revelation, such as Dolphin Blow, Somersault, Chi Trap, and perhaps even Final Heaven.

Yasmine is the first Year 4 character to release. She’s set to arrive on August 3. Capcom promises to share more about her and the other characters in the lead-up to their releases, so stay tuned to GameObserver for more Street Fighter news.
