Aniimo Guide: How To Evolve Aniimo

There are many cute creatures to catch in Aniimo. The game also features evolution, which means your captured critters will not remain the same throughout the game. Evolution increases their combat power, and they get a much cooler appearance as well. Our guide will show you how to evolve them to improve their capabilities.

How To Evolve Aniimo

Aniimo level up — You can evolve Aniimo from the level-up menu.

Evolution is unlocked automatically in Aniimo as you progress through the main story quests in the Nimbus fields. Once you have access to the feature, go to Aniimo Management from the menu. Select any Aniimo, and you will see a small icon near the level-up button. That’s the evolution menu.

In the evolution menu, you can check the Unlock Evolution and Evolution Criteria requirements. You need to make sure both of these are fulfilled to evolve any selected Aniimo. Some Aniimo cannot be evolved, like your default starter, while some may have more than one stage of evolution.

The Unlock Evolution conditions are usually met after you defeat the required Alpha Aniimo found in Idyll. Some of them are much stronger, so you can’t beat them until you are at least the recommended level. The Evolution Criteria is mostly met by leveling up your Aniimo. However, some Aniimo may have additional requirements.

You can level up your Aniimo quickly by catching and defeating others. Using leveling-up material is the fastest way to get your desired level. You may not be able to evolve further if you reach the maximum level cap. This will prevent you from leveling up your Aniimo to their second stage. You can increase that by going through elite training in the menu.

Once you have met the requirements, you need evolution stones to evolve them. Evolution Stones are obtained after you defeat an Alpha Aniimo and claim rewards. You can find Alphas to challenge from the Aniimo Challenge menu in the institute guide. There are stones of several types that match the type of the Aniimo you wish to evolve.
