After a weekend of playtesting, the team at BULKHEAD has announced the Early Access release date for their FPS project, WARDOGS. The title will be launching into Steam Early Access on September 10 for the price of $39.99 USD. Pre-orders are now available, which grant access to the Closed Beta on August 21.
Additionally, a Supporter Edition is available to pre-order as well, which includes:
- 3 ‘Starter Weapon’ Camos
- Valkyra Branded A-91 Rifle Camo
- Lonestar Branded Bushmaster Camo
- Manticore Branded KH-2002 Camo
- Littlebird Helicopter ‘Taxi’ Camo
- Supporter Icon on scoreboard (can be hidden in settings)
- Grenade Bobblehead
- Helmet Bobblehead

For those looking to try the game on the Closed Beta, it will take place from August 21-23. While players will need to pre-order to get access to this Beta, the team encourages that refunds will be possible if “the beta doesn’t live up to your expectations.” The team is also taking a humorous marketing approach, giving players 10 reasons not to buy the game instead.
WARDOGS is a multiplayer FPS that takes the popular King of the Hill mode from the Arma series and transforms it into a modern multiplayer experience. Players fight for control of a zone, while earning cash that can be used to unlock new items. On the announcement post, the team shares that the game will not be monetized during Early Access and that “We will NEVER monetize in-game cash or gold bars, they must be earned through play.”
