We’re rapidly approaching the launch of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, although some time zones are already seeing the releasee as we speak! You can create a paradise of your own with Miis of everyone you know, fictional or otherwise. If you don’t have the game yet, there’s still a demo to create Mii characters you can import later.
When promoting the game, Nintendo accidentally stumbled on an instantly iconic Mii character with their clownish jester Mii, who they named “Hugh Morris”. If you were wondering how to perfectly recreate him for your Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream experience, you’re in luck, as Nintendo released an entire tutorial on how they made him.
Posted on their official X (formerly Twitter) page, there’s an entire video tutorial showing players how to recreate Hugh Morris’ look for themselves. If you want to do it too but you’d prefer a written tutorial to save for later, you’re going to need to:
- Select the fourth available head option
- Apply the ‘Bangs‘ option that looks like two perfect triangle mountain peaks
- Change the hair color to purple, and the sub color to a wine red
- Select the third nose option
- Select the 12th mouth option, that looks like a closed square bracket
- Select the final ear option
- Add the third face markings option to add cheekbones
- Paint on his signature eye makeup with a purple triangle above and a red below
- Apply the voice settings pictured above
Once you follow either the video or text tutorial, you’ll have your own version of Hugh Morris! Nintendo left his personality or other identity traits to your imagination, so you can customize those to your heart’s desires.
