Halo: Campaign Evolved Ranks Among Top PS5 Pre-Orders In Multiple Countries

Halo: Campaign Evolved is proving to be a major hit with PlayStation players ahead of its release on July 28, with pre-orders for the remake of the original Halo climbing the PlayStation Store charts across multiple regions.

The game has performed especially well in the United Kingdom, where the Standard Edition currently holds the number one spot among all PlayStation 5 pre-orders. The Premium Edition is also performing strongly, remaining within the top five and sitting ahead of several highly anticipated upcoming releases like Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and STAR WARS: Galactic Racer. This strong demand isn’t limited to the UK. In the United States, the Premium Edition has secured seventh place among all PS5 pre-orders.

Halo: Campaign Evolved launches on July 28, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.

The remake has also generated significant interest across Europe. France and Germany currently have the Premium Edition ranked among the most pre-ordered titles on the PlayStation Store, with both countries showing strong demand for the game. Italy, meanwhile, has the title sitting in fifth place among the platform’s most pre-ordered releases. Spain, however, is a different story. Halo: Campaign Evolved is not among the country’s top pre-orders, with players instead favoring titles such as Persona 4 Revival, Ace Combat 8, Anomalith, and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

If you don’t know, Halo: Campaign Evolved is a full remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. The new version features modernized graphics, updated cinematics, cross-play support, brand-new prequel missions, and expanded story content alongside the original missions. Players who purchase the Premium Edition for $69.99 or the Collector’s Edition for $199.99 will receive five days of early access beginning on July 23. The Standard Edition will be available for $49.99.

In other news, a new leak claims Halo 2 and Halo 3 remakes are already in development at Halo Studios as part of a larger plan to remake the original trilogy.
