In a world where beastfolk live alongside humankind, there are few places where they can truly relax and be themselves. In this new cozy title Beastfolk Barber, your barbershop becomes just that place. The first trailer for this relaxing new barbershop simulator had its world premiere during the 2026 Wholesome Direct broadcast.

Developer Safe Flight Games describes Beastfolk Barber as a mix of Zootopia and Coffee Talk. You will encounter a wide variety of beastfolk customers, ranging from catfolk and rabbitfolk to even a two-headed dragon creature. (Hope you’re charging double for that one – after all, that’s two times the number of hairstyles you’ll need to craft!) Customers will request everything from a basic trim to a complete makeover, so it will be up to you to fulfill their requests.
But Beastfolk Barber is about much more than cutting hair. A barbershop is a place where customers feel safe and comfortable – the beastfolk feel that they are able to open up to you in a way they often cannot during their daily lives. You’re doing more than just giving them haircuts; you’re helping them uncover their true selves and get more in touch with their real identities in a world that often forces them into strictly defined roles.

The end of the trailer shown off during the Wholesome Direct also hints that there may be something more going on – the final shot shows a seemingly human figure transforming into what appears to be a succubus. Is that just a particularly tricky customer, or could that be none other than the Beastfolk Barber themselves? We won’t know until the game releases!
Currently, Beastfolk Barber does not have an official release date, but more information will likely be revealed in the future. It is planned to debut for PC via Steam.
