Final Fantasy XIV: Moogle Treasure Trove – The Hunt For Aphorism Guide

A new Moogle Treasure Trove event has arrived in Final Fantasy XIV. These Treasure Trove events, most of the time, take place before a new content update hits. This time is no different, titled The Hunt For Aphorism, this event brings new, rare items, and some older ones that you might have missed from past events. This Treasure Trove will be active from Tuesday, March 31, 2026, until the release of Patch 7.5, which is expected around April 28, 2026, though this date can change.

To participate in this event, you will need the Mogpendium, which you can obtain by speaking with an Itinerant MoogleItinerant Moogles are located in the 3 main cities of the game: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks at coordinates X: 9.4 Y:11.6, in New Gridania X:12.4 Y:12.1, and Ul’dah, Steps of Nald X:9.6 Y:9.1.

Objectives and Challenges?

Final Fantasy 14 Mogpendium
After obtaining the Mogpendium, you can access it in the Main Menu – Duty – Collection.

With both the Mogpendium and the Itinerant Moogle, you will see the available objectives for this event, which are divided into four categories: Standard, Weekly, Minimog, and UltimogStandard Objective varies per player and the duties they have completed in the game, but they always have available Dungeons, PvP modes, GATE events from the Gold Saucer, and Ocean Fishing. Also, in the Duty Finder, you will know which Duty will reward you towards the event with a moogle icon at its side

Weekly objectives are updated every Tuesday. Minimog Challenges are also updated every Tuesday, but can only be completed once per week, and you can complete one of two objectivesThe Ultimog Challenge can be completed once per event. Ultimog takes a bit more time to complete, with the current active objective requiring you to enter 5 Treasure Dungeons.

Completing these objectives will reward you with Irregular Tomestones of Aphorism, with the Ultimog Challenge offering the biggest reward at up to 50 Tomestones. You can claim the rewards from the Itinerant Moogles and use them to trade for items as well.

Final Fantasy 14 Treasure Trove rewards.
The top rewards include the Miner’s Earring, Fat Cat Parasol, and other cool mounts!

What Objectives and Challenges to Complete First?

The order for completing these objectives is up to the player, but it is recommended to go for that Ultimog Challenge first since its the one with the biggest reward. Ocean Fishing routes open every two hours, so you can do some other events in between. Or, if you still need to level up the PvP Series, this is the perfect opportunity to tackle both the PvP and Treasure Trove objectivesIdeally, a mixture of all activities will keep you busy without getting burned out with the same activity.

Which Rewards Should You Get?

As with the objectives, this is up to the player’s preference, but keep in mind that some reward items will be available only in the Treasure Trove, like the Miner’s Earring. Rewards also include mounts, apparel, treasure maps, and more.
