Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Already Has A Million Wishlists

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is already showing very strong interest from players just days after its reveal. Ubisoft has confirmed that the game has surpassed one million wishlists across all platforms in just one week, following the Worldwide Reveal Showcase held on April 23.

In a message shared on the official Assassin’s Creed X (formerly Twitter) account, Ubisoft said, “We’re overwhelmed with gratitude. The team has been reading your comments and we want to say a heartfelt thank you for the 1 million wishlists across all platforms, we’re so pleased to see the excitement in the community for Resynced.”

The original Assassin’s Creed Black Flag will still be available for purchase after Resynced releases.

These numbers confirm that bringing back Black Flag was likely the right decision, especially considering that Ubisoft is going through a difficult time with internal restructuring and budget cuts that have put several major projects at risk. This remake could play an important role in how things move forward for Ubisoft.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is scheduled to launch on July 9, with the Standard Edition priced at $59.99. Players who pre-order the game will receive Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack, which includes a custom outfit for Edward, along with a unique sword and pistol. The remake is built on the latest version of the Anvil engine, the same technology used for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. It will include improvements like better visuals with ray-traced lighting, dynamic weather systems, improved parkour and combat systems, and much more.

It is also worth noting that Ubisoft has confirmed that the original 2013 version of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag will remain available for purchase and will not be removed after the remake releases, as Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will not include the multiplayer mode or the Freedom Cry DLC.

In other news, Ubisoft is reportedly developing a remake of the original Assassin’s Creed, which is expected to follow the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
