The monster-catching craze may be sweeping the charts again, but it’s far from the only mobile game cashing in this mid-September. This week’s charts cover September 7 to 11 and are based on estimated top-grossing rankings from Sensor Tower and AppMagic. Note that the figures below combine estimates across both Android and iOS.
Pokémon GO reclaims the global stage once again after its massive July success. As Gigantamax Cinderace stormed into Max Battle Day on September 10 while this month’s City Safari pulled Boston Trainers out into the real world the same weekend. Scopely also dropped teasers for the upcoming Harvest Festival and its Team GO Rocket Takeover variant, giving Trainers every reason to stock up on GO Passes before the early October rush hits.
Japan’s charts, meanwhile, belong to the Trainers of the horsegirls variant. Umamusume: Pretty Derby’s Autumn Festival story event kicked off September 7, starring Tamamo Cross, Inari One, and Mejiro Ardan. Clear it, and Trainers can find a free SSR Mejiro Ardan waiting at the end. The competitive scene is also buzzing for the 2nd Scorpio Cup, which no doubt does wonders for gacha spending this week.
In Korea, NIKKE is feeling the pinch of a content lull and fell off the chart. The jiggly shooter that consistently sits in the Top 3 has been taken over by Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 3.2 “Their Secret Histories” update released on September 9, hyped up with the Link Up music video featuring the tsundere vampire Claret Flint. Still, Wuthering Waves and Honkai: Star Rail are still the main anime games for many, with the former riding the momentum towards Version 3.6 Phase 2, which dropped on September 10 with the 5-star Fusion Resonator Jingran’s debut.

Surprisingly, China’s Top 10 sees a bit of a shake-up, with Honor of Kings‘ new auto-battler spin-off shooting into sixth place. Looking at Teamfight Tactics‘ (known locally as Battle for the Golden Spatula) performance so far, there’s little doubt the game will dominate the rankings too. Here’s how major mobile and gacha games performed across key regions for mid-September, from the 7th to 11th.
