The Promised Hour Event Rewards

The Promised Hour Event Details Umamusume: Pretty Derby
You can unlock more episodes for the event story by obtaining Event Points.

The Promised Hour brings an Event Points ladder and a prize roulette, similar to most story events. You can get a ton of Carats, as well as Rainbow Crystal Shards, through the event points ladder. Meanwhile, the Prize Derby offers Carats, alongside Gold Crystal Shards and other resources. You’ll need Prize Coins to roll on the Prize Derby Roulette, which can be obtained by completing daily missions.

For event points, you’ll have to complete career runs. If you consume 2x Trainer Points, you can obtain twice the number of Event Points on a successful career run. Furthermore, you can boost the event points rewards at the end of a career run by using event-featured trainees and Support Cards. Using the following trainees, or any Support Card featuring these trainees, will provide an event bonus with respect to the rarity and the number of stars or copies that you have:

  • Rice Shower
  • Fine Motion
  • Curren Chan
  • Ikuno Dictus
  • Haru Urara

Ikuno Dictus SSR Support Card Umamusume Pretty Derby
[Beloved Orchid Bouquet] Ikuno Dictus is an excellent Stamina Support Card for Late Surgers.
For Support Cards, you can get up to three free copies of the SSR Wit Card [Day I Dreamed Of] Rice Shower through the Prize Derby Roulette. One copy can be obtained through the Event Points ladder after obtaining 400,000 points. You can get the last copy by watching Episode 8 of the story event. This support card is decent because it provides good Training Effectiveness. However, it only provides 5% Race Bonus, which is less than other better alternatives.

You can also roll on the Featured Support Cards banner to obtain [Sunny Passion] Haru Urara and [Beloved Orchid Bouquet] Ikuno Dictus SSR Support Cards. Both of these cards are great for Late Surgers. Haru Urara’s Support Card is good, as it provides 10% Race Bonus and Training Effectiveness when maxed out.

[Beloved Orchid Bouquet] Ikuno Dictus is an excellent SSR Stamina Support Card due to the chunky Training Effectiveness that it provides, alongside the 10% Race Bonus. It has some good skills for Late Surgers, and its unique perk can boost your Training Effectiveness by 20% at max, depending on your bond with other support cards during a career run.

Featured Trainees

Wedding Curren Chan Umamusume: Pretty Derby
If you’re looking for a Sprint runner, this version of Curren Chan might be the ideal option for you.

The event banner for trainees features [Ma Cherie of the New Moon] Curren Chan and [Titania] Fine Motion. This version of Curren Chan is excellent for Sprint races and is also competitively viable for Team Trials and Sprint Champions Meetings.

Curren Chan comes with some great debuff skills on maxed-out potential. She also has the Turbo Sprint skill built into her kit, so you won’t need the Sakura Bakushin O SSR Support Card to get it. Furthermore, her unique skill is also great for breaking out of the pack, and can be a decent acceleration skill for other Umamusume.

[Titania] Fine Motion excels at Mile and Medium races. You won’t be able to use the Fine Motions SSR Support Wit Card with her, but she has a 20% Growth Bonus on Wit. Furthermore, she also has some great Mile skills, making her a good option for Team Trials.
