Capcom’s Pragmata just released for multiple consoles including the Switch 2, and alongside it the Diana Amiibo, which is currently the only Amiibo that works with the game. So, how do you use it, and what does it give you in game?
How to Unlock
The Ability to use the Amiibo comes early on in the game, shortly after unlocking the Shelter. If you aren’t sure if it’s unlocked or not, check the game’s system menu at any time while exploring. The Amiibo option will be lit up when it’s available.
How to use the Diana Amiibo

At any point when you are not in the Shelter, pause the game and navigate to the System Menu. Select Scan Amiibo and touch the Diana Amiibo to your Joy-Con or Pro Controller’s Amiibo touchpoint. The game will confirm your rewards and they’ll drop to the ground in front of Hugh. The option then grays out, meaning you won’t be able to scan the Amiibo again until after another visit to the Shelter.
What do you get and when to scan
Each time you scan the Amiibo, you’ll receive a health pack, a weapon for Hugh (it can be any red, green, or blue weapon you’ve already unlocked), and a hacking node (also from among those already unlocked). There doesn’t seem to be any weighting to the type of weapon or node dropped.

As you always exit the Shelter with full health, weapons, and nodes, the best time to scan the Amiibo is after a fight, when you might need to top up your health, weapons, and hacking modules.
Hopefully this has helped you decide whether or not getting the Diana Amiibo is worthwhile for you. For more on Pragmata and other Capcom games, keep checking GameObserver
