Overwatch Reveal New Diablo Cosmetic Collection, Including Ramattra Legendary Skin

Evil is making its way to Overwatch, and we don’t mean a Mei buff. Blizzard just revealed a new cosmetic collaboration coming to the hero shooter, with Diablo skins arriving to celebrate the release of its Lord of Hatred expansion. The cross-Blizzard celebration which was teased in Season 2’s trailer begins on April 28, as “Overwatch X Hatred’s Reckoning” begins.

As part of the collaboration, four heroes will be receiving Legendary skins that reimagine their character as iconic Diablo classes, whilst one gets a new Legendary cosmetic to become the ultimate embodiment of evil himself. Along with the skins, previous Diablo-themed rewards can be earned along with a new Weapon Charm via in-game missions and more new cosmetics via Twitch Drops.

Ramattra mains, the suffering is over, he has a new skin and it’s good.

At long last, Ramattra will be getting a new Legendary skin with Mephisto, replacing his Omnic appearance with that of the Lord of Hatred himself. The skin gives Ramattra long, imposing horns, covering his body in red colored-material marked with sigils. In Nemesis form, he spreads his giant arms further, also adorned with horns, markings and sharp claws.

The other four heroes getting Diablo skins all have Legendary cosmetics based on certain classes. Brigitte gets the Paladin wearing gold and white armor, Freja is a Rogue with a wooden crossbow and flashy red cape, Lifeweaver take on the dark red mysterious Warlock attire, whilst Mauga rounds out the bunch with a bear-like Druid skin.

The full wave of Diablo skins can be purchased in bundles or individually.

As mentioned, this isn’t actually the first collaboration with Diablo, and the former collection will be returning as well next week. The previous Legendary skin collection gave us Inarius Pharah, Lilith Moira, Imperius Reinhardt and Gilded Hunter Sombra. All items are available individually on in discounted Diablo bundles.

The Diablo collaboration is available in Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning between April 28 and May 18. For more updates on Blizzard’s latest, included breaking Overwatch news, check back often to GameObserver for more.
