A new seasonal event has arrived in Final Fantasy XIV. The Make It Rain Campaign event brings a fashion accessory (that was added before by mistake), a minion, and more. As with most events, you will have to be level 15, and for this one, you must have completed the quest “It Could Happen to You,” which gives you access to the Gold Saucer. This event will be available from May 29 to June 24.
To Ul’dah!
To begin the event’s quest, head to Ul’dah – Steps of Nald, at coordinates X:9.4 Y:9.1. There, you will find Ollier, who will offer you the quest “You Otter Be There.” Ollier will explain the event that is taking place, and that you should meet him next at the Gold Court. Head to the Gold Court and speak with Ollier there; he will then introduce you to Ajisai and her Otters, who are the promoters of this year’s festivities.
You will be prompted with some dialogue choices throughout this quest; you can choose whichever you think best, since the result will be the same. Agree to help Ajisai and her friend with promoting the festivities, and then follow the otter Usosuke to help with his task. You will be in uniform while on this objective, so you can’t fast travel, but you can take off the uniform at any time. Just be sure to get back to Ollier to get it back.
Usosuke will promote the event in three locations:
- Sapphire Avenue Exchange
- Weavers’ Guild
- Eshtaime’s Aesthetics
Rewards
After helping Usosuke, report back to Ajisai, then speak with Ollier, who will tell you to join him at the Gold Saucer for your reward. At the Gold Saucer, you can find Ollier at the Airship Landing entrance. Speak to Ollier to watch a cutscene of the festivities and complete the quest. The rewards for the quest include the Senor Otter minion and pack. You can equip the pack from the Fashion Accessories menu. Additionally, you can trade with the Campaign Attendant to buy the new decorations and other items from past events.

- Tabletop Make It Rain Campaign MMXXV Advertisement
During the duration of this event, MGP rewards from the Gold Saucer have been increased by 50%, and several prizes like the Crystal Tower striker, Monster Toss machine, Cuff-a-Cur machine, and more, will receive a discount!
