Most modern fighting game franchises have adopted a season-pass-style system for releasing their content. Street Fighter 6 and Guilty Gear -Strive- release four new characters in a yearly rotation, keeping games that released several years ago alive today. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which was released last year, is raising the bar on these character release intervals, announcing that Season 3 will bring a monthly character for the next six months.
The characters coming with Season Pass 3 are:
- Rick Strowd (July 2026)
- Duck King (August)
- Kim Kaphwan (September)
- Mystery Fighter (October)
- Laocorn (November)
- Mystery Fighter (December)
Season 3 will be titled “Destined for Revenge,” which gives an idea of the theme of this season and its characters. For those Mystery Characters, there’s a high probability that they will be guest characters, since previous Seasons brought some, such as Chun-Li and Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. Besides new fighters, the Season will bring monthly updates and stages, and from the look of the key art with Mai having her classic outfit, new outfits are to be expected.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season Pass 3 is available to buy on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store for $19.99 USD. New players looking to get into the game can purchase Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Revenge Edition for $49.99, which includes all of the Seasons so far. With Season 3, previous DLC characters will also be available for individual purchase.
