Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and there’s a thick plume of ash coming from the Fallout 3 Remastered rumors. A remaster of the beloved Fallout 3 has been a hot topic of discussion amongst Bethesda fans for a while following several leaks and teases, but the latest development is perhaps our strongest hint yet that this rumor might just be true.
McFarlane Toys are known for their highly detailed toys from a variety of franchises, and any fan of the toys can tell you it’s a very common occurrence in the space to see their lineup of incoming toy drops leaked ahead of time. The latest leak comes from Brodepot via ToyNewsSi, and it’s full of the usual culprits, such as a wealth of DC toys and other franchise figures. Amongst their gaming toys though lies a huge outlier: the mention of a 7-inch Elite Edition T-45B Nuka Cola – from Fallout 3 Remastered. Pre-orders allegedly open on March 15.
It’s always possible that these listings are false, but as someone with plenty of experience seeing toy listings and schedules leaked, this one seems to be remarkably reliable. It’s bolstered by the fact that Fallout 3 Remastered rumors have been coming from every direction recently, as notably mentioned by The Verge in their roadmap for Microsoft’s 2026 gaming plans.
Should these rumors come true, it would make this year a wonderful year to be a Fallout fan. Not only would there be a remaster of one the most beloved and popular RPGs from the Xbox 360/PS3 generation, but there’s also the hugely successful PrIme Video show that just wrapped its second season with glowing reviews, and the ever-improving Fallout 76.
