Chappell Roan Just Teased Her Fortnite Collaboration Coming This Week

We already reported on the strange appearance of a dancing pink pony-llama creature on the Fortnite island and how this heavily suggests the next Fortnite Festival artist will be Chappell Roan, but she just teased even further that the collaboration is official. Over on her official Instagram page, she posted a picture to her Instagram story to show off the nails she had for the recent Grammys, and in the picture she’s holding the pink pony-llama hybrid creature that’s currently dancing on the Fortnite island. That’s the strongest hint we’ve had yet that the Pink Pony Club singer is making her way to the island later this week.

The current Fortnite Festival icon is Lisa, known for her role in the K-Pop girl group Blackpink along with her solo endeavours as a musician and actress. However, her tenure as a Festival Icon is set to end on February 5 – that’s this Thursday – and she’ll be replaced by a new headlining artist. Chappell Roan has a history with Fortnite, publicly being a fan of the game since 2024 and already having an emote using her HOT TO GO! song and choreography. It seems she’ll fit right in with other Fortnite Festival Icons, such as Sabrina Carpenter and Hatsune Miku.

As spotted by Shiina over on X (formerly Twitter), it appears that the Fortnite Festival skin for Chappell Roan will be named The Midwest Princess. Fortnite Festival Icon skins usually come with two variants, one in the Music Pass and the other in the item shop. Fans have speculated for a while that Chappell’s Music Pass skin will be inspired by her more feminine on-stage attire, whilst her item shop skin is expected to be her medieval knight outfit from her 2024 VMAs performance of Good Luck, Babe.

The first look at Chappell Roan’s two Fortnite outfits will be coming any day now, so be sure to check back often to GameObserver for more Fortnite news written for humans and by humans!
