Warframe Is Now Available Globally On Android

After several months of testing and beta stages, Digital Extremes released Warframe on Android devices on February 11, but only in the Canada region. The promised global release date was February 18. However, on release day, Digital Extremes announced that they were delaying the global launch due to login issues on some Android devices. No official date was given for the delay, which led to speculation among players about how long it might last. Thankfully, the delay lasted… *checks watch* a couple of hours.

In another post later that day, the team announced that Warframe on Android was officially available worldwide, with the login issues resolved. There were still some other issues and bugs, such as players using French, Polish, or German getting stuck on a menu due to a UI bug. Another issue includes players not seeing the correct Cross Platform Save status on the website after linking accounts; you may be able to fix it by completely closing the game and relaunching it.

The Cumulus Syandana and Cirrus Armor set can be claimed for free until March 4.

Despite those small issues, Warframe is running smoothly on Android, offering great performance for a game with such impressive visuals and a large amount of content. The current device requirements are as follows: Compatible with devices running 64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor, Android OS 12.0 or higher, and a minimum of 4GB of RAM. Digital Extremes is also offering rewards for players who log in from an Android device. These include the Cirrus Armor Bundle, Cumulus Syandana, Stratus Pistol Skin, Spektaka Color Palette, and a 3-Day Resource Booster. Brand-new players will receive the login reward after completing The Awakening Quest.

The release of Warframe on Android makes the game available on almost every gaming platform now. The only remaining is the Switch 2 version, though it is already available on the original Switch. For new players, or just those who want to support the team, Digital Extremes also released the new Fulmin Battlekit pack, which includes a weapon, boosters, and more.
