The Peak of Confection is the latest story event in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. The event also brings a limited banner for the event versions of Mihono Bourbon and Eishin Flash Trainees, as well as Nishino Flower and Sakura Bakushin O Support Cards. Furthermore, you can also obtain the Tosen Jordan [My Way] SSR Support Card for free by progressing in the event.
Additionally, the event features a lot of Carats and upgrade resources that will be extremely useful in improving your Trainees and Support Cards.
The Peak of Confection Event Rewards
There are two ways to obtain rewards in the Peak of Confection, like most story events. You have the Event Points ladder and the Prize Roulette. The Event Points ladder increases after you complete a Career Mode run and by completing certain challenges from the Event Missions. The Event Points ladder includes rewards such as Carats, Crystal Shards, Monies, Support Points, and other upgrade resources.
You can also obtain a copy of the Tosen Jordan [My Way] Support Card by obtaining 400,000 points in the ladder. The ladder goes up to 1,000,000 points maximum. Additionally, you can also consume double TP before the start of a Career Run to obtain twice the Event Points and the Prize Coins rewards after a complete run.
For the Prize Roulette, you can obtain up to 450 Carats by completing the Bingo Cards in the Roulette. You’ll have to consume Prize Coins to spin the wheel in the Prize Roulette. Prize Coins can be obtained by completing daily Event Missions and after completing Career playthroughs.
Furthermore, you can get up to three copies of Tosen Jordan [My Way] SSR Support Card by completing the first three Bingo Cards. Any subsequent Bingo Cards will only yield upgrade resources, not Carats or copies of the Support Card.
Event Bonus for The Peak of Confection
Certain Trainees and Support Cards can provide an additional boost to the obtained Event Points at the end of each Career run. The featured Trainees include: Sakura Bakushin O, Mihono Bourbon, Eishin Flash, and Tosen Jordan. Any Support Cards featuring Nishino Flower, Sakura Bakushin O, Mihono Bourban, Tosen Jordan, and Eishin Flash also provide a specified Event Bonus based on the Support Card’s rarity.
If you want to earn more points in a Career Run, it is recommended to use the mentioned Support Cards and Trainees, as well as use the 2x bonus for event rewards, which will consume twice as many training points.
Featured Support Cards and Trainees
The event banner features Mihono Bourbon [CODE: ICING] and Eishin Flash [Precise Chocolatier] Trainees. Mihono Bourbon comes with a 10% bonus in Speed, Stamina, and Power growth. Furthermore, Bourbon’s Ultimate Skill, Operation Cacao, increases her speed while also restoring some of her stamina. However, the skill only activates when Bourbon is in the front part of the pack and is being chased by another racer during a race.
Eishin Flash comes with 8% growth bonus in Stamina and Power. Additionally, she has a 14% growth rate bonus for Wit. Guten Appetit, her Ultimate Skill, performs similarly to the base Symboli Rudolf Ultimate Skill, where it is only activated when she passes another runner three times in the final corner or later. Even though the activation requirement appears strict, the bonus it provides can win you races with ease.
Both Mihono Bourbon [CODE: ICING] and Eishin Flash [Precise Chocolatier] are incredible Trainees. However, there are certain factors that make Mihono Bourbon a promising choice to roll for. You can unlock the Concentration skill by leveling up her Potential, which plays a significant role as she is a Front Runner, and a late start can ruin a race for her with ease. Additionally, she also has the Groundwork skill in her kit, which removes the requirement for using Inspirations and Support Cards that provide this skill.
For Support Cards, Sakura Bakushin O [Super! Sonic! Flower Power!] is a Guts card that comes with multiple Sprint skills. On the other hand, you can obtain Nishino Flower [Little Cupcakes, Big Emotions]. It is a Wit card and can help you obtain the Determined Descent skill, which is useful for Pace Chasers.
The Tosen Jordan [My Way] SSR Support Card is a Speed card with decent stats and several skills suited for Medium races that can be obtained for free during the event. However, the best thing about this Support Card is that you can get the Breath of Fresh Air skill with it. The skill allows you to restore stamina and can be very useful in Medium or Long races. Make sure you obtain all the copies of the SSR Support Card before the event ends!
