Silent Hill 2 Remake Developer Bloober Team Is Working On 7 Horror Games

Following the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team is significantly expanding its development structure, with CEO Piotr Babieno confirming that the studio now has seven horror games in active development. This is a big step for the Polish studio, which is now moving away from working on just one game at a time in order to strengthen long-term growth and reduce financial risk.

The studio is now organized around two core first-party production teams that are focused on its major releases. These include the already confirmed Silent Hill 1 Remake, announced in June 2025 as the follow-up to the successful Silent Hill 2 Remake, as well as Project H, a major title currently in pre-production by the team behind Cronos: The New Dawn. Beyond its internal productions, Bloober Team is also handling five collaborative horror projects through external partnerships and its publishing label, Broken Mirror Games.

Silent Hill 2 Remake has reached 5 million total sales across platforms.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, he said, “We don’t want fewer than two productions, because relying on a single title creates too much risk in today’s market, but we also don’t want more, because quality, focus, and creative oversight would inevitably suffer. For us, two core productions are the right balance between ambition and responsibility.”

According to Babieno, keeping at least two major productions running at the same time is now very important in today’s market, where depending on a single title carries too much risk. At the same time, the studio has also made it clear that growth is being approached carefully, with the focus placed on stability and quality rather than simply increasing the number of releases.

With seven horror projects now in development, fans of the genre have plenty to look forward to from one of the genre’s most active developers. This growth is also backed by the company’s recently expanded leadership team, which now includes experienced professionals from Activision, Wargaming, Techland, and CD Projekt Red.
