The festivities don’t seem to stop for Final Fantasy XIV, now with two seasonal events active. The Moonfire Faire 2026 event brings a popular mount, furniture items, and a party ship for players to celebrate. The event requires players to be at least Level 30, and will be available from August 12- 26. In this guide, we’ll explain how you can acquire all the items and how to join the celebration.
To begin, head to Upper Decks in Limsa Lominsa. Look for Mayaru Moyaru at coordinates X: 11.5, Y:13.8. Mayaru will offer you the quest “Earning Your Water Wings,” which, after accepting, will bring you to your next objective and to where the event is taking place, Costa del Sol.

In Costa del Sol, you will see a big ship with fireworks in the background; go to it. On this ship, you will find Haermaga, who will send you to the location of the escort missions this event introduces. After speaking with Haermaga, go to the small piece of land between the ship and the coast at coordinates X:35.0 Y: 27.0. Select the “Destination” icon, and a cutscene will play where you meet P’obyano, who will ask for your help in escorting some visitors.
On the coast, at coordinates X:31.6 Y:27.1, you will now speak with the Pleasure Cruise Chaperone, who will introduce you to the tourists you will be escorting. The escort will be an automatic trip, with you and the visitors traveling in an inflatable Mogcraft. After the escort, return to Haermaga to complete the quest and receive an inflatable Mogcraft as a permanent mount. You can return to Haermaga and do more escort missions, which will then reward you with Pinwheels.

Besides the Mogcraft mount, there are other items you can get from the Moonfire Faire Vendor, who is just behind Haermaga. Some of these items include furnishings such as the Lawn Mograft, Lawn Chocobo Raft, Lawn Bomb Raft, a couple of Advertisements, and fireworks. The ship includes other recreation features, such as pools, slides, and a new obstacle course. Players can also jump to another relaxing area from the ship’s cannons.
