Lock Sock Studio, the developers of Escape From Mystwood Mansion, has announced the development of its latest cozy escape room game, Escape the Riddlerock Ruins.
Escape the Riddlerock Ruins is another first-person escape room game from the Swedish developer duo, in a new environment and with a new companion: a dog who assists you by sniffing out clues. This time, the mansion is swapped with Riddlerock Ruins, with players needing to delve deep into a labyrinth of hidden chambers, utilize ancient mechanical contraptions, and decipher cryptic inscriptions to uncover the ruin’s secrets.

Similar to Escape From Mystwood Mansion, Escape the Riddlerock Ruins will have five levels to solve, set in varied environments and featuring many clever and creative puzzles. The levels have no timer, offering a stress-free experience, and a multi-level hint system will also be available for those looking for a point in the right direction, but would still like the satisfaction of having solved most of the puzzle on their own.
Escape From Mystwood Mansion was released in 2023 as the studio’s debut title. Players took on the role of a delivery driver who gets locked inside Mystwood Mansion and is tasked by its owner to escape by working their way through its myriad of puzzle rooms.
Escape the Riddlerock Ruins is currently available to wishlist on Steam or Epic Games Store.
