Umamusume: Pretty Derby has introduced the Auto-Training feature that allows you to train your Umas independently. It is especially useful for farming Sparks, and in some rare cases, you might end up with an exceptionally strong Uma. Furthermore, Auto-Training can also help you complete certain Daily and Special Missions.
How To Start Auto-Training
Setting up Auto-Training works just like any other Career Run. You select the Scenario that you want to play, select your Uma, the legacies, and the Support Cards. When you press the Start Career button, a Final Confirmation prompt will show up. Here, you have to click on the Independent Training option. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to start a Normal Career run while the independent training is ongoing.
From here, you can select the races that you want your Uma to run. The Goal races are already selected. Mostly, you won’t have to select any races in the Agenda unless you’re playing the Trackblazer Scenario.

There are also three options in the Training Focus section: Balanced, Stamina, and Sprint. Balanced works fine mostly, but if you’re looking for an Uma that can run Medium and Long distances, selecting the Stamina option would do the job. For Sprint, the Auto-Training will mostly focus on Speed.
Furthermore, you can also prioritize skills that you want your Uma to unlock the hints for. Just select the skill that you want your Uma to unlock. It is not a guarantee that you’ll get a hint for the selected skill, but the chances of obtaining it are much higher.

How To Complete Auto-Training
Auto-Training lasts for about 50 minutes. Once the timer runs out, your Uma will have reached the point before Career Completion. You’ll have to select the Career option and learn the skills manually.
Once you’ve selected all the skills that you want your Uma to learn, you can complete the career. You’ll then get the Career Completion rating, as well as the Sparks. If you don’t like the Sparks, you can reroll them once, and then decide which ones you want to keep.
