DIE SOFT has announced the release date of their 2D platformer, Little Nemo and the Guardians of Slumberland. An updated demo is available ahead of the official release on March 31st, helping you meet some of the cast and get used to the gameplay.
You are Nemo, a warrior who defends Slumberland from the threat of Oblivion while he sleeps. Explore a variety of areas while fighting nightmarish creatures and powerful bosses. Nemo’s journey will include various Toys, granting abilities that help you traverse Slumberland while giving you an edge over your enemies. You can also find new areas to explore, helping you find treasures or secrets that you missed the first time.

Slumberland’s world is hand-animated, with seamless transitions between a variety of environments. Discover collectibles like Nemo’s Pajamas and Little Buddies, giving you additional goals to strive towards. Controls are tight and responsive to resemble retro-inspired platforming action. The game is accessible to everyone, but if you desire a greater difficulty, you can increase the challenge later.
While the game is coming out on Steam on March 31st, it will also arrive on the Nintendo Switch later this year. Wishlist the game on Steam now or try out the updated demo before launch. Follow GameObserver for more indie game news!
