Out Fishing is a story-rich horror game developed by Mūn Mūn Games and published by UNIKAT Label. You are rebuilding your life at an abandoned lake where supernatural occurrences begin appearing. You fish and earn money during the day as a regular fisherman would. Once the sun sets, you must withstand various horrors that range from creepy-looking fish to dangers that can hurt you.
You experience the adventure from a first-person perspective which plays similarly to a fishing simulator during the day. Thanks to a dynamic day-night cycle, various factors, such as the weather, affect your fishing results. Constructing your camp is also important, as this helps you work towards vehicles that let you explore more of the surrounding area. As your fishing earns more revenue, you slowly upgrade your tools and camp to prepare for the night.

Upgrading your tools for fishing is important as that is your main source of revenue, but you must also upgrade your camp. I f you can’t handle the threats, experiencing the tranquil yet unsettling atmosphere of the wilderness isn’t going to be easy. As the sun sets, the unease begins to settle in and you start experiencing hallucinations, among other things. That’s your cue to head back to camp or risk exploring, because you might find the answers you need at night.
When night falls, you must prepare yourself to handle the supernatural threats you encounter. Some sights are unusual like a hand crawling onto a boat or unnatural fish that you find. Others put you in danger, and require firearms such as a shotgun to keep yourself safe. Night time isn’t just about surviving; you must continue to explore to solve the mystery hanging over your head. Everything works towards your ultimate goal of catching something terrible in the waters.
